The BDGZ series crane bogies are powered from railway. The power source 380V alternating-current is transformed into AC 36 V connecting respectively with two rails, then the current collector of the crane bogies gets the AC 36v current from the rails and transmit it to electrical box. The control system of the crane bogie will control the motor to make the crane bogie work.

Due to the power source is transmitted to the rail, so the rail become electricity conductor. Considering to the safety, it demand strict requirement about the rail erection, which need to be insulated. The PLC is available to realize full automatically work. 

This kind of railway bogies have advantages as high using frequency, long using time, unlimited running distance. The load capacity of this railway bogies is less than 50T,if the working distance is more than 80m, one more transformer will need to add to raise the voltage.
